Prof. Fritz Albert Popp
Studied physics, degree in experimental physics, Röntgen Prize from the Physics Department of the University of Würzburg, Doctorate in Theoretical Physics, qualification as lecturer in biophysics, lecturer, appointed Professor by the senate of the University of Marburg. He is considered to have discovered "biophotons". In 1976, in conjunction with Bernhard Ruth, discovered weak light emissions from biological systems and proved that this radiation is emitted by all living organisms. Refinement of biophoton analysis, such that it could be used for quality measurements in the food industry.
